fundraising assistance
In keeping with our philosophy of holistic collaboration
and support of our clients, many of whom are
privately funded, we offer professional fundraising
counsel on an as needed basis. Depending
on the needs of the client, we can provide a
range of services from minimal to maximum involvement
related to securing capital funding. We
can assist with initial feasibility studies
through capital campaign planning, execution,
and analysis, as well as with board counsel,
and public relations initiatives focused on
enhancing our clients’ capacity to meet their
goals for funding capital improvements.
Please
contact
us for further information and to discuss
how we might help you achieve your fundraising
objectives.
corporate responsibility
At Baer Architecture, we live by our core values: strengthening our
relationships and the communities that we work in, working towards a sustainable
environment not only with our clients, but just as importantly, within our
company and the community as a whole.
We support community-building initiatives within our corporate culture by
sponsoring each of our employees as they donate up to one week or 3% of their
billable hours per calendar year to volunteer with a community non-profit
organization of their choosing. Recent examples include traveling to
Mississippi to build homes with Habitat for Humanity, chairing board activities
to strengthen the Worcester Center for Crafts, and coordinating service
initiatives with various international relief organizations such as Oxfam and
Heifer Project International. Some of our staff are involved with teaching
middle-school students about design through Citizen Schools. Brian is a
past board member for several non-government agencies including ACE
Mentoring/Boston, an educational program for high school students interested in
pursuing a career in Architecture, Construction or Engineering and DIFFA –
Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
Our offices are designed and built using green materials, such as FSC-Certified
wood and wood products; recycled carpet, low-VOC paints, and furnished with
recycled office furniture. We use only recycled paper and paper products,
and natural cleaning products. We have an in-house recycling program for
our office waste. 100% of the electricity that we purchase through our
utility is produced by a wind farm. 90% of our office furniture is refurbished
or recycled pieces. We purchase carbon-offsets impacting our carbon
footprint when we use airline transportation, and encourage our employees to use
mass transportation as much as possible. Please check our website in the
coming months for additional volunteer projects we’ve undertaken!
